The area is located next to the center of Hengelo (80,593 inhabitants) in the east of the Netherlands.

The site was used as a location for the industry and with the former Heemaf factory on it. The factory is demolished except for one monumental building.

  • The redevelopment of a ‘listed industrial building’ into the ‘Medical Center’. A location where a general practitioner, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and specialists such as a podiatrist, dietitian and the like are located. A care hotel with approx. 18 rooms will also be housed in this building. A public restaurant will also be realized in this building.
  • The realization of a Care Complex with 70 care places with facilities and a private garden. This complex is expected to be a turn key delivery commissioned by a Care provider.
  • The Apartment building with 42 service apartments with private care called the Comfortable Living concept. This building also has 45 parkingspaces.
  • Urban villas overlooking the water with parking space and (roof) terrace
  • A parking garage for shared use of these buildings with approx.. 105 parking places.
